Orange is an edible citrus fruit, obtained from sweet orange, native to India, Vietnam or Southeast China, probably coming from Portugal long ago to our region. Oranges are produced throughout our region, being another of the main citrus producers. The variety of our region is the Valencian orange, Valencia late, or Valencia late, the fruit is medium to large in size and has a high juice content of Orange, practically seedless so it is one of the sweet varieties used in Spain for the extraction of juice. By having its season after other oranges, its consumption is popular after past the time of those of navel.
